Sylvester Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi is returning to Paramount+ for the fourth season of “Tulsa King,” premiering Oct. 16.

A previously-released teaser and a collection of new photos offered an early look at the next chapter of the crime drama, created by Taylor Sheridan.  Season 4 will find Dwight attempting to make his Tulsa operation more legitimate while keeping his organization intact amid mounting pressure. Corrupt political figures, fresh adversaries and a major personal setback will challenge his growing empire, while the fallout forces him to draw more heavily on the instincts he developed during his years in New York. The teaser sets the tone with Dwight declaring, “It’s a dirty business,” followed by, “And everyone gets a little stained.”

First-look images featured Stallone alongside many returning cast members, including Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Frank Grillo, Neal McDonough, Dana Delany, Garrett Hedlund, Kevin Pollak, James Russo and Vincent Piazza. The photos also introduce Gretchen Mol, who joins the series as a regular. Mol plays Amanda Clark, a Tulsa politician whose presence adds another potential source of conflict for Dwight and his organization.

Terence Winter, who helped establish the series in its first season, returns as head writer and executive producer. Sheridan and Stallone are also executive producers, alongside David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Thomas Kelly and Keith Cox. “Tulsa King” is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, with its first three seasons currently available on Paramount+.
