The ‘Meet the Parents’ franchise is back with another installment, and this time Ariana Grande steps into the spotlight alongside returning stars Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro. The newly released trailer for Focker-in-Law offers a first look at the next generation of awkward family introductions—complete with the series’ signature tension and humor.

The preview centers on Greg Focker (Stiller) as he sizes up Olivia, played by Grande. She’s the girlfriend of Greg’s son Henry (Skyler Gisondo), and it doesn’t take long for Greg to put her through the same kind of scrutiny he once endured from his own intimidating father-in-law, Jack Byrnes (De Niro).

In a familiar twist, Olivia finds herself hooked up to a lie detector during her first major family encounter—a hallmark moment fans of the series will recognize. Despite Greg’s skepticism, Jack appears immediately taken with her, offering a warmer reception than Greg ever received years earlier.

The film reunites several longtime cast members, including Teri Polo, Blythe Danner, Owen Wilson, and Beanie Feldstein. Behind the camera, John Hamburg returns to write and direct, having worked on all previous entries in the franchise.
