Apple TV has shared a first look at “12 12 12,” an eight-episode heist drama starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan. The series reunites Mackie and Dornan, who previously appeared together in the 2019 science-fiction thriller “Synchronic.”
Created by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble, the series follows a disgraced FBI agent, played by Mackie, as he pursues an American career criminal portrayed by Dornan across Europe. Their conflict centers on an ambitious attempt to rob a bank vault beneath Zurich, setting up a high-stakes pursuit between the two characters.
The title reflects the show’s unusual structure. Its story is told through three connected periods: the 12 months spent preparing the robbery, the 12 hours in which the heist takes place and the 12 days that follow. The format allows the series to explore both the planning behind the crime and its consequences while the FBI investigation unfolds.
Mackie and Dornan also serve as executive producers, with Kari Skogland directing the pilot and additional episodes. The ensemble includes Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, José Garcia and Kali Reis. The project is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content.
“12 12 12” will premiere globally Nov. 13, with its first two episodes released that day before new episodes arrive weekly through Dec. 25.
