Sadie Sink has signed on to star in and executive produce The Marriage Plot, a new limited series in development at FX for Hulu based on the novel by Jeffrey Eugenides.

Sink, known for roles in “Stranger Things” and “The Whale,” will also serve as an executive producer. Production duties will be handled by A24 alongside FX Productions. Adapted from Eugenides’ 2011 novel, The Marriage Plot centers on three recent college graduates whose lives become intertwined through a complicated love triangle. As they navigate relationships, identity and the transition into adulthood, the characters are forced to confront the gap between their romantic ideals and the realities of life after college.

The Marriage Plot is being developed by playwright and screenwriter Will Arbery, who will serve as writer and executive producer, while acclaimed filmmaker Hiro Murai is attached to direct and executive produce. Additional casting details, a production timeline and a premiere date have not yet been announced.
