Netflix has released the official trailer for Season 2 of Ransom Canyon, offering fans a first look at the next chapter of the streaming service’s hit contemporary Western romance before its July 23 premiere. The preview reunites Josh Duhamel’s Staten Kirkland and Minka Kelly’s Quinn O’Grady as the pair attempt to move forward after the dramatic events of the first season, while fresh challenges threaten both their relationship and the future of their Texas community.

The new season begins six months after Quinn departed to perform with the New York Philharmonic and Staten lost control of the Double K Ranch. As Quinn returns home, the trailer suggests the longtime friends may finally have an opportunity to pursue a future together, but newcomer Oliver, played by Ben Robson, introduces a new romantic complication. Meanwhile, rivalries over land, family legacies and power continue to intensify as ranching dynasties fight for control of Ransom Canyon.

Returning cast members include Lizzy Greene, Garrett Wareing, Marianly Tejada, Jack Schumacher, Casey W. Johnson and Brett Cullen, while several new faces join the ensemble for Season 2. Based on Jodi Thomas’ bestselling novels and created by April Blair, the series continues to blend romance, family drama and Western storytelling, though the television adaptation expands beyond the source material to further develop its core characters.
